My label says "TINDALE OCT 2002. Even though Tindale was a spelter works (zinc smelter), this slag shows distinct lead smelter characteristics. Although it not really apparent in this photo, the underneath, is as curved as the surface shown. The sandy coloured thicker layer appears to be an unglazed ceramic. My label says "TINDALE OCT 2002".
