Simply kill the wolves/scare them off to get him to come down. In the process of him jumping down, he will break his ankle, and you will need to carry him as he wants to continue on his drunken adventures. You have several options here, alongside some optional dialogue choices: “I’ll help you” and take Vostatek back to his house - Cut the quest short and take him home straight away “I’ll help you” and follow the objectives - carry him to where he wants to go “You’re on your own” - Leave him and not complete the questIf you decide to leave him, the quest will end there, and chances are Vostatek will die when those wolves come back, so you have to choose either of the other options to finish the quest. If you choose to help him, you can take him straight back to his house, which will shorten this quest significantly, but you will lose out on some unique encounters and gear you can grab from a bandit camp. The best option is to take Vostatek where he wants to go, as frustrating as it is. Once you pick him up, head north, up the lake, until you see a fallen tree on the left.Drop Vostatek off here, and he will then ask you to drop him off at the anthill further north.
