Of interest, the mods will be kickstarted by a contest that began on January 30th when the update went live. It is the Goblet of Mods Contest, and players will get to compete to create a mod that will wow people. There are monetary prizes for these mods including: Worldbuilding Mods: $5000 for 5 Winners Cosmetic Mods: $2500 for 15 Winners Weekly Winners: $500 for 60 Winners Community Favorites: $2500 for 3 Winners If a player is interested in entering the contest, they just have to start creating within the Creator Kit, submit their mods, and fill out this registration form so that any mods they create are now eligible to win. This will create some incentive and some friendly competition to see who can make the best mods for Hogwarts Legacy. Related 10 Features Hogwarts Legacy 2 Needs To Leave Behind Hogwarts Legacy was a great game, but it had a lot of bad gameplay mechanics that the sequel absolutely need to leave behind in order to succeed. Right now, while the current options for modding are already fairly extensive, the developers have announced more options will be added later. This opens up possibilities to change a lot more within the game. It will be interesting to see what players come up with, but if the past mods are to be taken into account, it seems players will likely want to affect the companions in Hogwarts Legacy as well as the behavior protocols, such as being able to duel anyone, anytime. While the sky isn’t quite the limit just yet, it kind of is as one of the main draws seems to be the ability to change a broom or a flying companion into a dragon. Being able to truly test combat with never-ending dungeons also seems like a fun possibility.
