HARLAN COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) - Deputies with the Harlan County Sheriff’s Office arrested three people for their roles in reportedly loading mining equipment into a truck and trailer.Police were patrolling the Bledsoe area on Sunday. When they made contact with the suspects at the mine site, they saw an industrial hydraulic jack belonging to a mining company in the back of a truck.When police talked to Nelson Brock, he told them he placed the jack in the back of his truck along with other items that belonged to the mining company.Nelson Brock, along with Stacey Brock and Doug North, all admitted to taking items from the mining company.Nelson Brock and Doug North were charged with first-degree criminal trespassing, theft by unlawful taking/disposition - more than $1,000 but less than $10,000 and possession of burglary tools.Stacey Brock was charged a slew of insurance and registration charges.All three were taken to the Harlan County Detention Center.Stacey Brock and Nelson Brock have since been released.Copyright 2025 WYMT.
